Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using CAD/CAE tools for complex industrial systems
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop detailed technical documentation including BOMs, assembly drawings, and test procedures
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate new mechanical innovations
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality control
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with ASME standards and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Experience with energy systems or sustainable technology a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
