Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of complex mechanical systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks/NX)
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for structural optimization
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure DFM and production feasibility
- Develop test protocols and oversee validation of prototypes in lab environments
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Interface with clients to translate requirements into engineering specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Certification in GD&T and tolerance stack analysis
- Experience with mechatronics integration and control systems
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule
