Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Develop and optimize product prototypes through FEA and CFD analysis
- Interface with manufacturing teams to ensure DFM/DFA compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Research emerging materials and manufacturing technologies
- Prepare detailed technical documentation and patent applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T and ASME standards
- Automotive or heavy machinery industry experience
- Proven project management with PMP certification
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
