Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to validation
- Develop CAD models using SolidWorks and perform FEA simulations
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost and efficiency
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams for integrated solutions
- Validate prototypes through rigorous testing protocols
- Document technical specifications and maintain design standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years experience in industrial machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Certification in Six Sigma or PMP a plus
- Experience with ISO 9001 and ASME standards
- Proven project leadership in cross-functional teams
- Portfolio of successful mechanical system deployments
