Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex mechanical components and systems using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.).
- Conduct rigorous stress analysis, thermal simulations, and failure testing to ensure product reliability.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers.
- Oversee the prototyping process and manage the transition from concept to mass production.
- Optimize manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including BOMs (Bill of Materials) and engineering specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or NX).
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.
- Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools such as ANSYS or Abaqus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
