Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to production
- Design and optimize mechanical components using CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for performance validation
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and test innovative solutions
- Document technical specifications, create engineering drawings, and ensure compliance with ISO standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for quality assurance
- Analyze manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation software
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with automotive or heavy machinery systems
- Certification in project management (PMP or similar) highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects to completion
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
