Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to mass production
- Design and optimize mechanical components using CAD software (SolidWorks/AutoCAD)
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for performance validation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on prototyping and testing initiatives
- Develop technical documentation including assembly drawings and BOMs
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement processes
- Ensure compliance with ASME standards and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, sheet metal)
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance stack-up analysis
- Proven project management skills with PMP certification a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
