Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and validate mechanical systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Lead product development lifecycle from concept to manufacturing
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated solutions
- Optimize designs for manufacturability, cost, and performance
- Prepare technical documentation and engineering specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
- Expertise in CAD/CAM software and simulation tools
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with project management methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
