Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and engineering of complex propulsion systems using industry-standard CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Conduct rigorous stress analysis, thermal analysis, and finite element analysis (FEA) to ensure product integrity and reliability.
- Develop and manage detailed product specifications, BOMs, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, manufacturing, and project managers.
- Oversee prototype fabrication and oversee testing phases to validate design performance against requirements.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement cost-effective design solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in industry-standard CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo.
- Strong working knowledge of FEA/CFD tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar).
- Experience with GD&T standards and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
