Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex components and assemblies using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or CATIA).
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal analysis to validate product performance under various operating conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, create technical specifications, and manage the product development lifecycle.
- Oversee prototyping processes, including 3D printing, machining, and rapid prototyping techniques.
- Perform rigorous testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and design reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development within a manufacturing or R&D environment.
- Proficiency in 3D modeling and drafting software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
