Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to production
- Design and optimize mechanical systems using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct FEA simulations and physical prototyping validation
- Collaborate with R&D teams on material science innovations
- Develop manufacturing processes for mass production scalability
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical product design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Experience with automotive or industrial automation systems
- Proven project management using Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Lean Six Sigma certification a plus
