Responsibilities
- Lead design and prototyping of aerospace propulsion components using CAD/CAE tools
- Perform thermal, stress, and fluid dynamics analysis using ANSYS and SolidWorks Simulation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and validation testing
- Develop manufacturing processes and documentation for FAA compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for quality assurance
- Research emerging materials and technologies for performance optimization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years aerospace experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Suite (Structural, Fluent)
- Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 GD&T and MIL-STD-31000 standards
- Experience with composite materials and additive manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in managing product development from concept to production
- Strong analytical skills with FEA/CFD simulation expertise
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
