Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of mechanical components using CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, CATIA)
- Develop and execute FEA/CFD simulations for thermal and structural analysis
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system architectures
- Prototype testing and validation in laboratory and field environments
- Generate detailed technical documentation and manufacturing specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with battery thermal management systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on schedule
