Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace propulsion components using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate thermal, fluidic, and structural systems
- Develop and validate prototypes through FEA simulation and physical testing
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Drive innovation in sustainable materials and manufacturing processes
- Manage project timelines and deliverables within budget constraints
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS/PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in aerospace or high-precision mechanical design
- Expert proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS, CATIA)
- Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and material science
- Experience with DOE and statistical analysis methodologies
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
- Demonstrated project leadership in regulated industries
