Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to production validation
- Develop and optimize CAD/CAE models using SolidWorks and ANSYS for high-performance systems
- Drive DFMEA analysis and tolerance stack-ups for precision assemblies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on rapid prototyping and material selection
- Lead technical reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Interface with manufacturing partners for DFM and production scaling
Qualifications
- BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 7+ years of product development experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Proven track record in precision mechanism design and thermal management
- Experience with additive manufacturing and hybrid production processes
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Strong analytical skills with Six Sigma or DFSS certification
- Portfolio demonstrating complex mechanical system innovations
