Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test mechanical components and systems for automotive applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in product development lifecycle from concept to production
- Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for detailed modeling and documentation
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation for performance optimization
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production processes
- Maintain compliance with industry standards (ISO, SAE) and safety regulations
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in automotive or manufacturing
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS, or similar)
- Strong knowledge of material science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Proven project management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership capabilities
