Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to mass production
- Design and optimize mechanical systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks/CATIA)
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for structural validation and thermal analysis
- Develop prototyping strategies and oversee testing procedures
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams for integrated system solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or high-volume manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks/CATIA and simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, DFMEA, and APQP processes
- Proven track record in material selection and cost optimization
- Experience with additive manufacturing and composite materials
- PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
