Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle for aerospace components using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop rigorous testing protocols and oversee prototype validation in our on-site lab
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize DFM/DFA processes
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with clients to translate technical requirements into engineering solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of mechanical design experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks/CATIA) and simulation software
- Strong understanding of ASME standards and aerospace certification processes
- Proven project leadership experience with complex electromechanical systems
- Hands-on experience with prototyping, testing, and validation methodologies
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
