Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace components using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct FEA simulations for stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analysis
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for precision components
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate new technologies
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with AS9100 and FAA certification standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Proven track record in DFM/DFA and tolerance analysis
- Strong knowledge of materials science and composite technologies
- Experience with ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality systems
- PMP or similar project management certification preferred
