Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and prototyping of complex mechanical systems using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations to validate structural integrity and thermal performance
- Develop manufacturing processes and optimize production workflows
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with suppliers to ensure component quality and cost-effectiveness
- Generate detailed technical documentation and compliance reports
- Collaborate with electrical/software teams on integrated system architectures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation software
- Strong understanding of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in automotive or aerospace product development
- PMP or Six Sigma certification preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills and system-thinking approach
- Effective communication and leadership abilities
