Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to production using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Develop and validate prototypes through FEA simulation and physical testing
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality control
- Collaborate with R&D team on material selection and thermal management systems
- Prepare technical documentation including CAD drawings, BOMs, and test reports
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Research emerging technologies and implement industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA tools
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, sheet metal)
- Proven track record in bringing products from prototype to production
- Experience with thermal/fluid systems and materials science
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
