Responsibilities
- Lead conceptual design and detailed development of mechanical components for electric vehicle powertrain systems
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations for structural validation
- Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for high-volume production components
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration
- Prepare technical documentation including CAD models, engineering drawings, and test protocols
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in automotive or aerospace
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T, ASME Y14.5 standards, and DFMEA methodologies
- Proven track record in managing product development from concept to production
- Experience with additive manufacturing and hybrid production processes
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
