Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product design lifecycle from concept to validation using CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD)
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations to ensure product reliability
- Develop detailed technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test protocols
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimize production processes and reduce costs
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and industry regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in product design and development for automotive/industrial sectors
- Expert proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA) and FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Strong knowledge of materials science, thermodynamics, and manufacturing processes
- Proven project management experience with complex mechanical systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
