Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Design and optimize mechanical systems using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on R&D initiatives
- Develop technical documentation and manufacturing specifications
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, ASME)
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS)
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Proven project management skills with PMP certification a plus
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
