Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and prototyping of mechanical systems using CAD/CAE tools
- Conduct FEA simulations and thermal analysis for performance optimization
- Develop manufacturing processes and ensure DFM/DFA compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with R&D teams on material innovation and sustainability
- Present technical findings to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Proven experience with GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards
- Certification in Six Sigma or PMP preferred
