Responsibilities
- Design and optimize mechanical systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD)
- Lead product development from concept through prototyping to production
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams for process improvement
- Prepare technical documentation and engineering specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and review design deliverables
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and automotive industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical product design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Experience with automotive systems or heavy machinery
- Proven project management skills with PMP certification a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
