Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end mechanical design process for new products, from concept to mass production.
- Utilize advanced CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) to create detailed 2D and 3D models and technical drawings.
- Conduct rigorous simulation analyses (FEA/CFD) to validate design integrity and optimize performance under stress.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers.
- Source and evaluate new materials to ensure durability and cost-efficiency.
- Oversee prototyping and testing phases to troubleshoot and refine designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of proven experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, PTC Creo, or Autodesk Inventor) is required.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, welding).
- Experience with FEA/CFD simulation software (ANSYS, Abaqus).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
