Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Perform advanced CAD modeling and FEA/CFD simulations using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Design and optimize mechanical systems for automotive/aerospace applications
- Conduct material selection analysis and tolerance studies
- Mentor junior engineers and document technical specifications
- Collaborate with R&D to test and validate prototypes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and simulation
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS suite
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Proven track record in automotive/aerospace systems
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with PLM systems (Teamcenter preferred)
