Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to production using CAD/CAE tools
- Develop and optimize product performance through FEA simulation and prototyping
- Manage BOM structures and vendor relationships for critical components
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and industry safety standards
- Collaborate with R&D on material innovation and sustainable design practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS/Abaqus
- Proven track record in complex system integration
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and manufacturing processes
- Experience with automotive or aerospace industry standards
- PMP or PE certification preferred
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional project teams
