In this pivotal role, you will lead the mechanical design lifecycle, from concept to mass production, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, performance, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design and development of complex product systems.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Conduct stress analysis and finite element analysis (FEA) to validate designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and QA.
- Develop and test prototypes to ensure design integrity and functionality.
- Prepare technical documentation, including bill of materials (BOM) and design specifications.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mechanical design.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA) is required.
- Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS or Abaqus) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
