Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace components using CAD/CAM tools
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and stress testing for structural validation
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality control
- Develop technical documentation including schematics, BOMs, and test protocols
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with R&D teams on prototype development and validation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-reliability industries
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and CATIA
- Strong knowledge of materials science and thermal dynamics
- Certification in ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards
- Proven track record in managing complex engineering projects
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
