Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design processes from concept to production
- Develop and validate CAD models using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Conduct finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations
- Collaborate with R&D teams on material selection and prototyping
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost and efficiency
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and automotive industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and CATIA
- Strong understanding of FEA/thermal analysis tools
- Experience with automotive or heavy manufacturing systems
- Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis principles
- Proven project leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
