Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to prototyping using SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality control in high-volume production
- Develop thermal management systems for electric vehicle powertrain components
- Conduct FMEA analysis and simulation testing for reliability validation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Interface with suppliers to ensure component specifications and cost targets are met
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks, CATIA) and simulation software
- Proven track record in product development for automotive or aerospace industries
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, material science, and manufacturing processes
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Experience with electric vehicle powertrain systems highly desirable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
