Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of automated systems using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Execute FEA/CFD simulations for stress analysis and thermal management
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings and BOMs for production partners
- Coordinate prototype builds and conduct rigorous validation testing
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with R&D on material science innovations for high-stress environments
- Present technical solutions to executive stakeholders and clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD/CAM tools (SolidWorks/CATIA/AutoCAD)
- Strong background in FEA/CFD simulation (ANSYS/Abaqus)
- Proven track record with manufacturing processes (injection molding, CNC machining)
- Experience with mechatronic systems integration and sensors
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- Excellent project management skills with Agile/Scrum exposure
- Strong analytical mindset with data-driven problem-solving approach
