Responsibilities
- Lead design and prototyping of mechanical systems for EV powertrains
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis using ANSYS and SolidWorks Simulation
- Develop detailed engineering documentation including BOMs and GD&T specifications
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system designs
- Conduct root cause analysis for field failures and implement corrective actions
- Mentor junior engineers and optimize design processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in automotive or heavy machinery design
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with simulation tools (FEA/CFD) and tolerance analysis
- Proven project management skills with Agile methodology
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
