Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end mechanical design of electromechanical systems, including conceptualization, detailed design, and final documentation.
  • Utilize CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor) to create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings compliant with GD&T standards.
  • Perform complex stress analysis, thermal analysis, and dynamic simulations using FEA tools (ANSYS or Abaqus) to validate product integrity.
  • Develop and manage product prototypes, oversee rapid prototyping processes, and execute rigorous testing protocols to validate design performance.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing engineers to ensure designs are producible, cost-effective, and optimized for assembly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex engineering issues that arise during the development and production lifecycle.
  • Document technical specifications, test reports, and design standards to support the engineering team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or a related engineering field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in mechanical design and engineering, preferably within the robotics, automation, or medical device industries.
  • Expert proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
  • Strong working knowledge of FEA analysis software (ANSYS, NASTRAN, or similar).
