Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using CAD/CAM tools
- Conduct FEA simulations and stress analysis for component validation
- Develop prototype testing methodologies and performance metrics
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams for DFM/DFA implementation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Research emerging materials and technologies for product innovation
- Interface with clients to translate requirements into engineering solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of hands-on mechanical design experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS
- Strong knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis
- Experience with automotive or aerospace systems
- PMP or Six Sigma certification a plus
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional projects
- Valid US driver's license
