The Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will take ownership of the design and development of mechanical systems that push the boundaries of what is possible. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities
Lead the mechanical design and development of complex systems and components using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).Conduct detailed stress analysis, load testing, and simulation (FEA) to ensure product integrity and safety.Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical systems into larger products.Oversee the prototyping process, including 3D printing, machining, and assembly.Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including BOMs, assembly instructions, and design manuals.Ensure all designs comply with industry standards (ASTM, ISO) and regulatory requirements.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and interns.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor).Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).Experience with FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus) for simulation and analysis.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
