Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development lifecycle from concept to prototyping
- Design and optimize mechanical systems using CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on material selection and manufacturing processes
- Conduct FEA/CFD simulations for performance validation
- Develop test protocols and analyze experimental data
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ASME/ISO standards and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and simulation tools
- Proven track record with complex system integration
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC, injection molding, etc.)
- Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
