Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of automated systems using SolidWorks and FEA tools
- Develop prototypes and conduct rigorous testing/validation in advanced R&D facilities
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost-efficiency and scalability
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams on integrated system architecture
- Mentor junior engineers while maintaining ISO 9001 compliance standards
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for product reliability
- Research emerging materials and manufacturing technologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for industrial products
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, ANSYS, and CAD/CAM tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T, DFMA, and tolerance analysis
- Proven track record of successful product launches in regulated industries
- Experience with additive manufacturing and composite materials
- Professional Engineering (PE) license or actively pursuing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and project management abilities
