Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects from concept to prototype validation
- Perform FEA/CFD analysis for structural integrity and aerodynamic optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration and testing protocols
- Develop manufacturing processes and documentation for production scalability
- Mentor junior engineers through our technical excellence framework
- Drive innovation in lightweight materials and thermal management solutions
- Ensure compliance with FAA/EASA aerospace engineering standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design for aerospace or high-tech industries
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong background in composite materials and additive manufacturing processes
- Demonstrated project leadership through complex product development cycles
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with DO-160 environmental testing standards
