Responsibilities
- Lead the design, prototyping, and testing of mechanical components using CAD/CAM tools
- Perform finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations for product optimization
- Collaborate with R&D teams to develop innovative solutions for automotive systems
- Manage project timelines and deliverables while ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews for continuous improvement
- Interface with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure quality and manufacturability
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and ANSYS simulation tools
- Strong understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and material science
- Proven track record of leading complex engineering projects from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Professional Engineering (PE) license highly desirable
