Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle for aerospace components using CAD/CAE tools
- Perform advanced FEA simulations and thermal analysis to validate product performance
- Develop detailed engineering documentation including drawings, BOMs, and test protocols
- Collaborate with R&D team to prototype and validate innovative cooling systems
- Optimize manufacturing processes for cost efficiency and quality compliance
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure all designs comply with AS9100 and FAA regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or high-tech manufacturing
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Proven track record of developing complex mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Certification in GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards
- Experience with rapid prototyping and 3D printing technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
