Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design projects using CAD/CAM tools
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for structural optimization
- Develop prototypes and conduct rigorous testing/validation
- Collaborate with electrical and software teams for integrated systems
- Manage project timelines and technical documentation
- Mentor junior engineers and drive process improvements
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical product development
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS Suite
- Strong knowledge of materials science and manufacturing processes
- Experience with automotive or aerospace systems
- Proven project leadership and problem-solving abilities
- PMP or PE certification a plus
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
