Responsibilities
- Design and optimize mechanical systems using CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Lead product development lifecycle from concept to prototyping and validation
- Perform thermal, structural, and fluid dynamics analyses using FEA tools (ANSYS, Abaqus)
- Collaborate with R&D teams to develop innovative cooling solutions for energy systems
- Create detailed technical documentation and manufacturing specifications
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASME, ISO) and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development
- Expert proficiency in 3D CAD modeling and simulation tools
- Strong knowledge of thermal management systems and heat transfer principles
- Experience with material selection and manufacturing processes (machining, molding)
- Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical systems from concept to production
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
