Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design of aerospace components using SolidWorks and CATIA
- Perform FEA/CFD simulations for structural integrity and thermal analysis
- Develop detailed manufacturing drawings and GD&T specifications
- Collaborate with R&D on prototype testing and validation cycles
- Mentor junior engineers and optimize design workflows
- Interface with suppliers to ensure precision manufacturing standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of aerospace experience
- Expert proficiency in CAD/CAE tools (SolidWorks, ANSYS, CATIA)
- Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 and MIL-STD-31000 standards
- Proven track record in tolerance analysis and DFMEA processes
- Experience with composite materials and additive manufacturing
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
