Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end mechanical design lifecycle from concept to production for EV battery cooling systems
- Develop and validate thermal management solutions using CFD simulation and FEA analysis
- Create detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawings with GD&T specifications
- Collaborate with materials and manufacturing teams to optimize for cost and performance
- Prototype testing and validation in our advanced thermal labs
- Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement in design processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience
- Expert proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS simulation tools
- Deep understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics
- Experience with battery thermal management systems or EV powertrains
- Strong knowledge of DFM (Design for Manufacturing) principles
- Proven track record of delivering complex mechanical projects on schedule
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
