Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end design and development of complex mechanical systems and components using CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Creo).
  • Conduct detailed engineering analysis, including Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and thermal analysis, to validate design integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and project management, to translate concepts into production-ready designs.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Perform feasibility studies and provide innovative solutions to engineering challenges while adhering to industry standards (GD&T, ISO, ASME).
  • Participate in the prototyping process, working with machinists and vendors to ensure quality manufacturing.
  • Conduct design reviews and provide technical mentorship to junior engineers and designers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in mechanical design and product development.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar CAD/CAM software with a strong portfolio of past work.
