Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design of complex robotic systems and industrial hardware.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Perform structural and thermal FEA simulations to validate design integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics and software into mechanical frameworks.
- Manage the full product lifecycle, including prototype testing and iteration.
- Select and qualify materials, components, and manufacturing processes for cost and efficiency.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in design for manufacturing (DFM).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks or Autodesk Inventor.
- Strong background in FEA analysis and GD&T principles.
- Experience with high-precision motion control, actuators, or gear systems.
- Proven ability to bridge the gap between theoretical design and mass production.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills in a collaborative environment.
