Responsibilities
- Lead the mechanical design lifecycle from concept through prototyping to full-scale production.
- Perform advanced FEA and CFD simulations to optimize structural components and thermal management systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software, electrical, and control engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Design high-precision mechanisms, housings, and assemblies using SolidWorks or similar CAD platforms.
- Select optimal materials and manufacturing processes (CNC, Additive Manufacturing, Injection Molding).
- Conduct rigorous design reviews and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to ensure industry-leading reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and product development.
- Expert-level proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX).
- Demonstrated experience in high-volume manufacturing and design for assembly (DFA/DFM).
- Strong understanding of GD&T, tolerance analysis, and material science properties.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under tight timelines.
- Excellent communication skills and experience leading technical project teams.
